Byron Rogers

I am Byron Rogers, a professional deeply immersed in the thoroughbred racing and breeding industry, with a passion for racing and a steadfast commitment to data-driven decision making in racehorse breeding and selection.

My career began with foundational experiences in Australia, where I worked alongside prominent trainers and bookmakers. This early exposure ignited my interest and laid the groundwork for my expertise in the field. As the stallion nominations and bloodstock manager at Arrowfield Stud, I played a role in the success of elite sires such as Redoute's Choice, Hussonet and Flying Spur and also in securing many of the mares whose pedigrees can be found in the paddocks at Arrowfield today. Following Arrowfield, I found myself to America where I managed the stallions at Taylor Made Farm in Kentucky.

During that time I co-developed the leading pedigree program TrueNicks and following that, I established Performance Genetics LLC, where I pioneered the use of computer vision, genetic and phenotypic research to pinpoint elite thoroughbreds, embodying my data-driven approach.

Now, as the Director of Research and Development at Stable Analytics LLC, I continue to refine and enhance racehorse selection strategies, utilizing artificial intelligence, computer vision and advanced data analytics to breed, identify and secure elite racehorses.

The racing colours above are currently owned by Byron Rogers. These colours were initially registered to R.A. "Bob" Miller, the brother of Percy Miller, the notable figure behind the famous Kia-Ora Stud. Various distinguished horses competed under these colours with the most notable being Windbag, the winner of the 1925 Melbourne Cup, among other prestigious races. Windbag later became a leading sire in Australia. More recently, these colors were donned by Let's Get Physical, the winner of the 1985 Blue Diamond Stakes. This horse was bred and raced in partnership by Byron Rogers' father, Dr. Chris Rogers
